Young Man Charged with Hitting Bartender with Bottle Causing Serious Harm
The investigation into a criminal case regarding the intentional infliction of serious bodily harm has been completed at the Lori regional investigative department of the RA Investigative Committee. Charges have been brought against a resident born in 1991 from the city of Vanadzor.
A thorough, complete, and objective investigation has clarified several circumstances of the incident, including the motive.
According to the factual data obtained during the pre-trial proceedings, the 27-year-old resident of Vanadzor engaged in an argument with an employee of a bar-café owned by a legal entity and intentionally hit him multiple times in the head with a fist, kicked him in the chest, threw him to the ground, and afterward struck him on the head with an empty beer bottle, intentionally causing serious harm threatening the life of the bartender.
Based on the evidence collected, the young man has been charged under the provisions of Article 112, Part 1 of the RA Criminal Code. As a measure of restraint, he has been chosen to sign that he will not leave.
The completion of the preliminary investigation has been announced, and the case has been submitted to court with an indictment.
