Major Accident in Ararat Province: 7 Injured
A major traffic accident occurred in Ararat Province last evening. This was reported by Shamshyan.com.
At around 21:00, two vehicles collided head-on at the beginning of the village of Hovtashat. The cars involved were a Daewoo driven by 37-year-old Artem Nikoghosyan from Hovtashat village, with license plate 35 UZ 770, and a Nissan X-Trail driven by 32-year-old Arthur Harutyunyan from the Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan, with license plate 35 VM 564.
As a result of the accident, seven individuals sustained bodily injuries and were transported to various medical centers: some to Masis, some to Vagharshapat, and others to the Erebuni medical center. Eyewitnesses at the scene indicated that citizens were the first to provide assistance to the injured.
Investigative work at the scene is being led by investigator Gevorg Poghosyan from the 1st platoon of the 2nd traffic police regiment, who is preparing materials regarding the incident. The police are working to establish the identities of the injured parties.
