Collision between VAZ-2109 and Opel: There Are Injured

On February 9, at 19:57, emergency services received a call reporting that an accident had occurred near the bridge on the Artengi-Aragatsavan highway, with injuries reported and a need for rescue assistance.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia, a firefighting and rescue team was dispatched to the scene.

It was found that the vehicles involved in the accident at the 1st km of the Artengi-Aragatsavan highway were a VAZ-2109 (driver born in 1986, M.N.) and an Opel (driver born in 1995, M.M.).

Before the rescue teams arrived, the driver of the VAZ-2109 and a passenger, Y.N. (born in 2011), were transported to the hospitals in Talin and Armavir, where doctors assessed their health condition as severe, while the driver of the Opel was given the necessary medical assistance on the spot by the ambulance staff and did not require hospitalization.

The rescuers disconnected the vehicles from power and closed the valves of the gas cylinders.
