Former MP's Daughter's Car Towed to Special Area for Driving Under Influence
On February 5, the car with license plate 01 AP 010, a Mercedes, was towed to a special area maintained by the traffic police by an officer from the 1st company of the traffic police.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, the vehicle was moved from Sayat-Nova Street, and the driver was Ani Zurabyan. As reported by the photojournalist, she had been refusing for a long time to present her driver's license to the traffic police and had declined to undergo sobriety testing. Eventually, she presented her driver's license, which turned out to be expired. Subsequently, she consented to undergo a sobriety test, which revealed that she was driving under the influence of alcohol. Consequently, an administrative act was filed against her by the officer.
It is noteworthy that Ani Zurabyan is the daughter of Ararat Zurabyan, a former MP from the Gagik Tsarukyan faction.
