Video: Women Suspected of Engaging in Prostitution Detected
As part of efforts to combat prostitution, the police regularly conduct raids in potential gathering places for sex workers.
On February 2 and 3, officers from the Yerevan city police department, its subordinate divisions, and the patrol service carried out an operation during which 37 women suspected of engaging in prostitution were detected, according to the police press service.
The aim is to prevent sex workers from establishing gathering places, as this disrupts public order and also shows disrespect to nearby residents, causing inconveniences.
These operations will continue.
