Emergency Incident in Yerevan: Police Prevent Citizen's Suicide
An emergency incident occurred in Yerevan a short while ago. A citizen had climbed over the dangerous edge of the Davitashen Bridge and was threatening to jump off to commit suicide, according to reports from shamshyan.com.
According to photographer Gagik Shamshyan, officers from the Mashtots and Davitashen police departments managed to prevent the man's suicide attempt, and he was taken to the Mashtots police station. The police are currently determining the man's identity and the reasons behind his actions.
