A One Hundred Percent Rampant Situation: Pashinyan
During today's government session, acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan addressed the issue of fishing for sturgeon in Lake Sevan. He noted that the matter has already been discussed several times and that long-term solutions need to be considered.
Pashinyan emphasized that there is a one hundred percent rampant situation regarding sturgeon fishing in Sevan.
"The report I have received speaks of shortcomings from several departments, including the National Park, the Ministry of Environment, and the Police," the Prime Minister stated.
The acting Prime Minister has tasked the Police Chief, the Governor of Gegharkunik Province, and the head of the Environmental Inspection Body to jointly discuss the issue and propose specific long-term solutions.
