My Wife Was the Lowest Paid Director of Haypost: Konyazyan

Member of the National Assembly from the Civil Contract faction Hayk Konyazyan has denied claims that he intervened in the appointment of his wife as the CEO of Haypost.

He noted that his wife had worked at Haypost for five years before being appointed as director, holding the position of head of the department, and then was elected as the company's CEO through a competitive process.

Konyazyan emphasized that he had no involvement in the competition process, as the selection was carried out by an independent competitive council in which he was not a member.

Addressing criticisms regarding her salary, Konyazyan stated that his wife was the lowest paid director in Haypost's history, while previous directors and even heads of some departments received higher salaries.

He also expressed the opinion that the topic has been actively raised against the backdrop of his nomination for the position of Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly.
