Moscow Does Not Refuse Negotiations with Ukraine, Says Russian Foreign Ministry
Moscow does not refuse negotiations with Kyiv and is ready to discuss constructive proposals, including new formats for dialogue, stated Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin.
“Russian officials have repeatedly stated that we are always open to negotiations. It was the Ukrainian side that interrupted them and even banned their conduct at its own expense. We have never refused to discuss constructive proposals, including regarding formats of communication. Will there be such ideas? That does not depend on us,” the publication quotes the Deputy Foreign Minister's words.
According to Russian media, the resumption of the negotiation process is currently hampered by the destructive stance of certain Western countries, which continue to fuel the conflict through large-scale arms supplies.
