The leader of the "Strong Armenia" faction, Narek Karapetyan, commented on the atmosphere in the National Assembly, noting that there are constructive approaches whose level of honesty still needs to be understood.

In response to a journalist's question regarding the prevailing atmosphere in the NA, Karapetyan emphasized that there are constructive approaches to consider regarding their honesty. He also highlighted a concerning incident where expressions insulting their religious beliefs were made but added that further work is necessary to articulate opinions.

Responding to criticisms regarding team questions and the need for work, Karapetyan acknowledged that they are new and need to understand many situations. He stated that everyone is an expert in their own field and believes that being new in politics is, in his opinion, more positive than negative.

According to him, the questions raised have their own purpose, which will become clear later. It was previously announced that the first session of the 9th convocation of the National Assembly is underway. The composition of Armenia's 9th convocation was formed based on the results of the parliamentary elections held on June 7, 2026. According to these data, out of 105 parliamentary seats, the "Civil Contract" party received 64 mandates, the "Strong Armenia" alliance obtained 29, and the "Armenia" alliance secured 12 mandates.
