Brazil Criticizes Trump's Proposal for a 'Peace Council'
Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has criticized U.S. President Donald Trump's initiative to establish a so-called 'Peace Council.' Trump aims to create an alternative model to the United Nations instead of reforming it, Lula da Silva stated.
“What is happening? President Trump is proposing to create a new UN, which he will lead alone,” said Lula da Silva. He insisted that this would undermine the UN charter.
