Iranian Intelligence Services Arrest Mossad Agent
Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) agents have arrested an agent of the Israeli intelligence agency, Mossad, according to a report by Tasnim news agency.
"The IRGC intelligence organization has announced the arrest of a foreign national who was sent to Iran by Israeli intelligence to gather information and assess the consequences of its agents' terrorist actions," the statement said.
Additionally, protests have erupted in Iran since late December 2025 due to the devaluation of the national currency, the Iranian rial. The primary focus of the protests has been the sharp fluctuations in the exchange rate and their impact on wholesale and retail prices.
