1655 Vehicle Tires Inspected
The spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Narek Sargsyan, has announced on his social media page: "The Police Service continues to implement enhanced supervision on the country's roads. From December 28 to 29, patrol officers inspected the tires of 1655 vehicles across the republic, issuing administrative violation reports for 180 of them.
Officers of the patrol service also checked the tires of vehicles involved in traffic accidents. During this period, there were 274 traffic incidents across the republic. Among the 520 vehicles involved in these incidents, only 10 were found to have non-winter tires.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs once again urges the public to adhere to traffic rules and to use only winter tires on their vehicles. Strict enforcement will continue."
