Peskov on Possible Meeting Between Putin and Trump
There are currently no scheduled meetings between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump. This was reported by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian president, in response to journalists' questions, as reported by TASS.
"Nothing has been planned yet," he stated. On December 8, Peskov announced that there is no discussion of a possible meeting between Putin and Trump before the New Year. He emphasized that preparations are needed for a meeting between the two leaders.
The Kremlin spokesperson also noted that Russia is willing to hold meetings with the US as often as necessary to achieve results in resolving the conflict in Ukraine. Peskov highlighted that Russia values US President Donald Trump's political will to find solutions to the conflict.
