Ukrainian media outlets have reported that Kyiv’s proposed peace plan does not include any reference to Ukraine's obligation not to join NATO. According to a draft consisting of 20 points published by the TSN television channel, there is no mention of any commitment from Kyiv regarding NATO membership.
Russian President Vladimir Putin previously stated that Ukraine's potential membership in NATO poses a threat to Russia's security. He emphasized that the risks associated with Kyiv's joining the alliance were among the reasons for the initiation of the special military operation.
