Many Archbishops Are Bound by the Ruling Power Forces, Says Narek Karapetyan
Thank you to our people for coming out to protect our Unity! Our love is in Armenia. This was written by Narek Karapetyan, coordinator of the 'Our Way' popular movement.
Today at the Mother See, Narek Karapetyan indicated that Prime Minister Pashinyan is imprisoning priests and fighting against the independence of the church.
“He is trying to show that this is an internal church problem, but many of the archbishops of the Armenian church, who have had worldly weaknesses, have been bound by the ruling power forces,” he stated.
According to Karapetyan, the steps taken against the independence of the Armenian Church are also actions against the recognition of the Armenian Genocide and the presentation of Armenian interests in international arenas.
