Turkey Sells Warship to NATO Member Country for the First Time
The Turkish ASFA defense company has delivered the 'Akhisar' ship, constructed last year, to Romania. The transfer of the ship to the Romanian naval command was a significant step for Ankara, boosting defense exports and expanding the prospects for military-technical cooperation between the two countries.
As noted by TRT Haber, the inclusion of the 'Akhisar' in the Romanian naval fleet will strengthen regional maritime security and support the modernization of the Romanian navy.
