Aviinyan Appeals to Yerevan Residents
During the previous night, we observed a significant deterioration in air quality, attributed to large fires in various regions of Armenia. This was announced by Yerevan Mayor Tigran Aviinyan.
“These types of fires and the toxins they emit are considerably more dangerous than construction dust, the dust we are actively fighting against. You have seen how leaves and garbage are collected in yards and burned. Dear residents of Yerevan, this primarily poisons you, your environment, and your children. We must understand the level of poisoning. Construction dust is approximately 3-5 times less harmful,” said Aviinyan.
