We Stopped the Armenia-Azerbaijan War: Trump
Former U.S. President Donald Trump declared during a speech at an American military base in Japan that the 35-year-long war between Armenia and Azerbaijan was halted through his mediation.
"I stopped eight wars in eight months, including the one between Armenia and Azerbaijan, which lasted for 35 years. This year, we also stopped the war in Gaza," Trump said, referring to his foreign policy successes during his presidency.
It is noteworthy that a peace agreement was initially signed between Armenia and Azerbaijan on August 8, 2025, with Trump's mediation, aimed at ensuring long-term peace according to both parties.
