European Commission Proposes New Mechanism to Aid Ukraine
The European Commission has proposed a "creative" mechanism to aid Ukraine by utilizing frozen Russian assets, according to a report by Politico.
The scheme suggests replacing these funds with EU bonds, which, according to European officials, would allow them to avoid allegations of seizure, the publication states.
The initiative has received approval and may be officially presented in the near future.
