Trump Orders Flags at Half-Staff in Honor of Charlie Kirk
U.S. President Donald Trump has ordered flags to be flown at half-staff in the United States in memory of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was shot dead in Utah.
“In honor of a truly great American patriot, Charlie Kirk, I am ordering all American flags in the United States to be flown at half-staff until Sunday at 6:00 PM,” the Washington leader wrote on the Truth Social platform.
Trump had previously stated that Kirk died following an assassination attempt. The American leader expressed condolences to the activist's family.
As reported earlier, Kirk was shot at the University of Utah in the city of Orem during his speech.
