Pashinyan Suggests Following Tokyo's Example on Smoking Ban and Lack of Trash Bins
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan noted that videos about the smoking ban in Tokyo's streets and the absence of trash bins have gained significant attention. He shared his thoughts on his Facebook page.
“So, what do you say, dear citizens? Should we try to adopt that strategy, or not? Moreover, following such a strategy does not mean that we will aim to reach that point in one or two years. It is impossible. Going down such a path means reaching that point in 5 to 10 years. If we don't succeed in 10 years, we must continue until we do. But today, we need to collectively decide that we will reach that point. Together, as a people, all of us,” wrote Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
