Peace Established Between Armenia and Azerbaijan: A Historical Turning Point, Says Pashinyan
Peace has been established between Armenia and Azerbaijan. This is a historic turning point that will have much broader regional implications. Leaders participating in the summit yesterday, as well as today, congratulated both us and Azerbaijan on the established peace, and I want to thank everyone for their congratulations.
This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during his speech at the meeting of the SCO+ format of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit.
"We are now discussing the opening of transport communications between our two countries based on the principles of territorial integrity, sovereignty, and jurisdiction. These efforts will include unhindered communication through the territory of the Republic of Armenia between the main part of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, with mutual advantages for international and domestic communications for the Republic of Armenia," Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said.
