Germany Urges Citizens to Leave Iran
Germany has urged its citizens not to travel to Iran and those already in the country to leave. This was reported by Reuters.
According to the agency, the reason for this warning is the potential for Tehran to take retaliatory measures in response to the reimposition of sanctions against Iran.
It is worth noting that the 'European Trio' (United Kingdom, Germany, and France) has initiated the process to activate the snapback mechanism for restoring sanctions against Iran. The duration of this process is 30 days.
Furthermore, if an agreement is not reached between Iran and the 'European Trio' during this period, the sanctions against Iran will come into effect.
