Putin Calls Iranian President: Details
Russian President Vladimir Putin has called Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. This is reported by TASS.
The Iranian President expressed his support for diplomatic efforts aimed at the peaceful resolution of the Ukrainian crisis.
The leaders of Russia and Iran discussed several pressing issues on the bilateral agenda, including matters in the energy and transportation sectors. They also addressed the situation surrounding Iran's nuclear program and developments in the South Caucasus region.
As a result, Putin and Pezeshkian agreed to meet at the upcoming SCO summit in China.
It is worth noting that the SCO summit will take place in Tianjin from August 31 to September 1.
