Europeans Must Take the 'Lion's Share' of Security Guarantees, Says Vence on Russia-Ukraine Conflict
The United States will not assume any obligations to guarantee Ukraine's security until it understands what is required, stated U.S. Vice President Jay D. Vence.
“The United States is open to dialogue, but we will not be making commitments until we first clarify what is necessary to end the war,” Vence said.
According to him, it is the Europeans who must take “the lion's share of future security guarantees.” “This is their continent. This is their security,” he added.
