Berlin will not be able to independently fund arms supplies to Ukraine. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia, in an interview with journalist Pavel Zarubin.
The Kremlin spokesman acknowledged that Germany is one of the largest economies in the world and the "economic locomotive of Europe."
“However, this locomotive is unable to bear such a financial burden on its own,” Peskov noted.
