Woman in Yerevan Found Who Led Children Across Unauthorized Street Area

Recently, a video circulated on social media showing a woman leading children across a street at an unauthorized crossing in Nor Nork's Boryan Street. The footage also depicted how the children came into the path of an oncoming vehicle that had to brake sharply.

Community police officers from the Nor Nork division have identified the woman. The 61-year-old has been summoned to the police station, where an administrative violation report has been prepared against her.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs urges all citizens, especially those traveling with children, to strictly adhere to traffic rules and to cross roads only at designated crossing points. Even seemingly minor violations can cost lives and lead to irreversible consequences.
