Arms, Action Plans: Investigative Committee Releases Footage and Personnel Details

In connection with the cases of preparation for terrorism and usurpation of power by the leaders and participants of the movement named "Sacred Struggle," the Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia, in collaboration with the National Security Service and the Police, has conducted over 90 searches. As a result, items and documents confirming the data obtained during the pre-investigation, as well as other irrefutable factual data of evidentiary significance, have been discovered. This includes firearms and military ammunition, operational plans, lists of compiled individuals, metal items, explosives, smoke-producing devices, military clothing, radio communication devices, drones, plant materials resembling narcotics, a list of individuals to be appointed to corresponding positions in the executive branch after forcibly usurping power, detailed documents regarding the planning of illegal activities to be carried out by the criminal group, their sequence, and chronology, among others.

Based on the investigator's proposal, the supervising prosecutor has made decisions to initiate public criminal prosecution against 16 individuals, which have been approved. Currently, based on the decisions of the investigator, 14 individuals have been arrested. The Investigative Committee will provide further information on the progress of the criminal proceedings in a subsequent statement. The pre-investigation phase continues.
