Medinski Explains Why Kyiv Refuses to Accept Bodies of Fallen Soldiers
Kyiv is refusing to accept the bodies of its armed forces (AFU) soldiers because it finds it difficult to acknowledge such losses, and the compensation funds have already been spent. This was stated by Vladimir Medinski, assistant to the President of Russia, in an interview with RT.
According to Medinski, Ukraine has passed a law stipulating that families of the deceased receive significant compensation. However, those funds, which are "paid by America and Europe," are not being allocated for compensation.
He noted that soldiers are declared missing in action, and in these cases, there is no need to pay the families.
