How the Demarcation Process is Progressing: Ararat Mirzoyan's Commentary

“The process of demarcation and delimitation is ongoing, it is in progress,” stated Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan. According to him, there are currently some methodological discussions taking place.

He noted that it is presumed that the demarcation will proceed based on the Almaty Declaration: “The point that will be Azerbaijani, but under our control, is supposed to be returned to Azerbaijan, while the section that is in Armenian territory but under Azerbaijani control will be returned to Armenia. This is the purpose of the work of the commissions,” he indicated.
