Former President of Ukraine, now opposition leader Petro Poroshenko, referred to the Zelensky-Trump debate.

“The relationships between Ukraine and the USA are not just the relationships between Zelensky and Trump. They are the relationships between two great nations that know that democracy and freedom are not empty words. And we cannot afford to spread anti-American sentiments. We hope that President Zelensky has a 'Plan B.' We believe that after the meetings in London and Brussels, we will return with important messages. We must preserve the state and prevent capitulation,” he wrote.
