Zelensky on Calls for His Resignation
After a meeting at the White House with U.S. President Donald Trump, Volodymyr Zelensky stated in an interview with Fox News that only the citizens of Ukraine can make decisions regarding his resignation.
“This decision can only be made by the people of Ukraine, and if someone is not satisfied with me, fine. Americans vote for their president, and every European country votes for its own president,” he said in response to a question about calls for his resignation.
Earlier on Friday, U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham said that following the unsuccessful negotiations at the White House, Zelensky either needs to resign or change.
