Terrorist Attack Prevented in Moscow
A terrorist attack planned against the Metropolitan Tikhon of Crimea by Ukrainian military intelligence has been thwarted in Moscow. This information was reported by Russian media outlets, according to the FSB of Russia.
One Russian citizen and a Ukrainian citizen have been apprehended in connection with the preparations for the attack. The FSB stated that the suspects were found in possession of an improvised explosive device and two forged Ukrainian passports with their photographs and altered identification details.
The men confessed that they were recruited by Ukrainian military intelligence with the intention of carrying out a terrorist act in Moscow. "The accused admitted that they were recruited in mid-2024 by an employee of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense for the physical elimination of Metropolitan Tikhon," noted the Center for Public Relations.
