Armenia Will Not Join the European Union This Year or Next, Ushakovs Says
Member of the European Parliament Niels Ushakovs has spoken about the prospects of Armenia's potential accession to the European Union, emphasizing that this process will require time and appropriate reforms. He made these remarks during a press conference following the 4th meeting of the Armenia-EU Parliamentary Partnership Committee.
“It is clear that Armenia will not join the European Union either this year or next year. This process requires time and effort. However, any reforms that Armenia undertakes on its path to EU membership will strengthen the country, and ultimately, it will find itself in the position it desires,” Ushakovs stated.
According to him, the reforms will reinforce the country, allowing it to make more confident decisions for the future.
