New Details on the Soldier's Death – Investigation Committee
Two individuals have been arrested in connection with the death of soldier Sevak Hovhannisyan. This was reported to the media by the spokesperson for the Investigation Committee, Kima Avdalyan.
According to her, public criminal proceedings have been initiated against the two individuals under the first point of the second part of Article 522 of the Criminal Code, which pertains to driving a soldier to suicide through negligence by a group of individuals. Pretrial detention has been applied as a measure of restraint against them.
It is worth noting that on February 17, at around 09:20, the body of soldier Sevak Vardani Hovhannisyan was discovered with a gunshot wound in a military unit.
