Death Toll Rises From Wildfire in Turkey
The death toll from the wildfire that broke out at the "Kartalkaya" ski resort in Turkey's Bolu province has reached 66. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“Unfortunately, we have 66 dead and 51 injured,” said Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya.
It was previously reported that a fire broke out in one of the hotels at the Turkish Bolu Kartalkaya ski center. Bolu Governor Abdulaziz Aydın stated that 6 people had died and 30 were injured at that time.
There were 234 occupants in the hotel during the fire.
