Polish Chargé d'Affaires Summoned by Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Following Duda's Visit to Yeraskh
Today, the Polish Chargé d'Affaires ad interim in Baku, Michal Grechilo, was summoned to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This was reported by the country's Foreign Ministry. Azerbaijani media outlets have conveyed this information.
It is noted that during the meeting, the diplomat was expressed discontent regarding Polish President Andrzej Duda’s visit to Yeraskh, where he met with EU mission observers in Armenia, despite warnings from the Azerbaijani side.
Baku claims that this move contradicts Azerbaijani-Polish relations and emphasizes the need to avoid actions that touch upon Azerbaijan's legitimate security interests.
It is worth recalling that earlier, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry expressed dissatisfaction with Polish President Andrzej Duda's meeting with Polish observers of the EU monitoring mission in the border area between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
