Arpine Sargsyan Dismisses the System's Number One 'Agent'
Just one week after being appointed Minister of Internal Affairs, Arpine Sargsyan has dismissed Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, David Hambaryan, affiliated with the ruling Civil Contract party. This information has been reported by the newspaper 'Hraparak'.
"We were told that not only was he dismissed from his position but also removed from the ministry. According to sources within the Ministry of Internal Affairs, David Hambaryan was considered the number one 'agent' for Vahe Ghazaryan, serving as a serious foothold for Soros-leaning circles within the system. However, because he was causing discord and openly aspiring for the ministerial position, the newly appointed minister could not tolerate him," the newspaper writes.
Hambaryan's ambitions to become a minister were reportedly so noticeable that even within the Ministry of Internal Affairs, where such intrigues are common, these manifestations were viewed negatively. It is said that Hambaryan took Arpine Sargsyan's appointment very hard, as he had hoped that the next minister would be himself, especially when there were rumors that Prime Minister Pashinyan intended to appoint a member of the Civil Contract party.
