Zakharova Comments on Russian Air Defense Systems Supply to Armenia
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, commented on reports from Greek media regarding Athens' plans to supply Armenian forces with Russian S-300 systems and other military equipment.
“We have indeed seen these messages, and in this regard, we want to remind about the necessity of strictly adhering to the provisions of the intergovernmental agreements on military-technical cooperation from October 30, 1995, and on the supply of military products from December 3, 2013,” stated Zakharova. “These agreements explicitly prohibit Greece from re-exporting military equipment supplied by us without Russia's consent. However, at this moment, we have not received any inquiries from the Greek side,” she added.
