Significant Part of the Agreement Text Already Coordinated: Aliyev

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer on November 12, during which the peace process between Baku and Yerevan was also discussed. Aliyev noted that negotiations on the peace treaty are currently ongoing between the parties. He stated, "A significant part of the agreement text has already been coordinated, and there has been serious progress in the delimitation and demarcation issues between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Not only has delimitation been carried out, but also more than 12 km of the border has been demarcated, and at the last meeting of the commission, an agreement was reached to advance this process."

At the same time, Aliyev emphasized the importance of excluding territorial claims against Azerbaijan from the Armenian constitution. The Azerbaijani president highlighted the necessity of preparing the peoples for peace to promote the peace process and to sign a peace treaty.
