Zelensky: Currently, I Do Not See Such Opportunities from the Battlefield Perspective

The Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant should be returned to Ukraine's control through political means; otherwise, it poses a danger. This statement was made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

“As for the return of the Zaporizhzhia NPP, there are only political steps today, and unfortunately, they are not enough for the plant to return to our control. It is safer for Ukraine to control the Zaporizhzhia plant, and from the battlefield perspective, I currently do not see such opportunities. Those that may exist are dangerous. Therefore, we believe that it is still necessary to return our plant through political means. We are discussing this on all platforms,” he stated.

Zelensky noted that the issue of the plant’s de-occupation is being handled by Rafael Grossi, the Director General of the IAEA.
