Enhanced Service to Be Implemented by the Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs
The Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia will conduct a 10-day initiative under the slogan "Beware, Children Are Present" starting September 2. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The initiative is being implemented in connection with the start of the new academic year.
According to the announcement, enhanced service will be carried out in the areas surrounding all public schools and other educational institutions across the republic.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs urges parents to accompany their elementary school children and not leave them unattended, to refrain from providing transport to minors, to be extra cautious while driving, and to adhere to traffic rules, including not parking in prohibited zones, the second row, or on pedestrian crossings.
The agency also calls for exhibiting lawful behavior, maintaining traffic regulations, and ensuring public order.
