As of August 1, the remaining quota for the import of electric vehicles is 2,563 units: SRC

The State Revenue Committee has announced that as of August 1, 2024, the remaining quota for the import of electric vehicles classified under the EAEU code 8703 80 000 2, with a 0% import customs duty rate, is 2,563 units.

It is noteworthy that for 2024, it is planned to import 7,400 electric vehicles from third countries into Armenia under the condition of a 0% customs duty rate.

At the same time, the committee informs that information regarding the number of vehicles actually imported (declared) from third countries under the 0% import customs duty rate for motor vehicles with electric motors is published on the official SRC website in the "Customs Statistics" section under "Report on certain vehicles imported from third countries with electric motors" as of the 1st of each month.
