“We Know Very Well How to Distinguish Between the Two,” Netanyahu
Israel is engaged in complex negotiations to return hostages from the Gaza Strip, but it also has principles that must be upheld for its security, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said at the start of a cabinet meeting.
“There are things we can be flexible about, and there are things we cannot be flexible about. We know very well how to distinguish between the two,” he stated.
He added that Hamas, recognized as a terrorist organization by the U.S. and the EU, is stubborn in ceasefire negotiations and called for greater pressure to be applied on the militants of this group ahead of a new round of talks next week.
