More Than 2,000 People Evacuated from Kursk Border Region in One Day
In a single day, more than 2,000 people have been evacuated from the border region of Russia's Kursk Oblast, reported Irina Tolmacheva, the press secretary of the Kursk governor.
“In one day, more than 2,000 people have been evacuated from the border areas of Kursk Oblast. Currently, there are 77 temporary accommodation centers operating in the region. They house 5,500 people, of whom about 1,000 are children,” Tolmacheva stated in a video published on the Kursk regional government's Telegram channel.
