Lukashenko Orders Strengthening Troop Deployments at the Ukrainian Border
The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, has ordered an increase in troop deployments along the Ukrainian border in the tactical directions of Gomel and Mozyr. This was reported by the Republic's Minister of Defense, Viktor Khrenin.
"Considering the situation developing in Ukraine as well as in Russia's Kursk region, the Chief Commander of the Armed Forces has ordered the strengthening of troop deployments in the tactical directions of Gomel and Mozyr to respond to any provocations," the minister's statement is quoted by the BelTA agency.
Earlier, it was reported that Lukashenko announced the destruction of Ukrainian drones in Belarusian airspace.
