Iran's Foreign Ministry Issues Statement
The spokesperson for Iran's Foreign Ministry, Nasser Kanani, has labeled Israel's attack on the Al-Tabi’in school in the Gaza Strip, which resulted in the deaths of 93 Palestinians, as a manifestation of war crimes and genocide. This was stated in a press release from the Iranian Foreign Ministry.
“The continuation of the Zionist regime's insane attacks on Palestinian civilians and the mass extermination of women, children, and the elderly, as well as today’s abhorrent assault on Palestinian refugees in Al-Al, has once again proven that the Israeli regime does not respect any international rights or moral principles,” Kanani stated.
He urged the UN Security Council and other international organizations to hold Israel accountable for its actions.
The diplomat added, “The only way to confront this brutal regime is through the steadfast and decisive actions of Islamic and freedom-loving countries to effectively support the Palestinian people and their legitimate resistance against occupation and aggression.”
It was reported that the Israeli strike on the school in the Gaza Strip, which resulted in over 100 fatalities, occurred at dawn during morning prayers.
