US May Earn Over $100 Billion from Arms Sales This Year: Pentagon

The revenue from arms sales abroad by the United States could exceed $100 billion by the end of the 2024 fiscal year. This was stated in a report published by the US Department of Defense on Thursday.

"The 2024 fiscal year ends on September 30, and arms sales abroad have already exceeded $80 billion and could surpass $100 billion by the end of the year," it stated.

In the 2023 fiscal year, the US earned $66.2 billion from arms sales, while in 2022, the figure was $49.7 billion. It is noted that according to Pentagon data, the demand for American weapons worldwide has increased since Washington began supplying arms to Ukraine in 2022.
