Israel is Not in a Position to Go to War with Iran, Says Bagheri
Israel is not in a position to go to war with Iran. This was stated by Iran's Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri, according to Mehr news agency.
In an interview with AFP, the foreign minister noted that Iran's response to the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the leader of the Palestinian Hamas movement, will come at a high cost to the Zionist regime and will instead benefit regional security.
"The Zionist regime is not in a position to initiate a war against Iran. They have neither the capability nor the strength," he emphasized, adding that Tel Aviv seeks to escalate tensions, war, and crises throughout the region from the Gaza Strip.
